We're here to supportively elevate patient compliance to a prescribed healthy diet through detailed responsiveness to access barriers. By helping provide communities with the healthy foods needed, Food is Medicine interventions can help restore health sustainably and equitably even in our most rural reaches.
Access to affordable, nutritious, sustainable, local and seasonal food is a fundamental determinant of public health and plays a pivotal role in preventing diet-related diseases.
We have your healing needs first. We are proud to provide a high quality level of personalized service with a commitment to health and wellness through a Food as Medicine approach.
Through a Food as Medicine supportive approach, your medical team will assess and create a personalized recovery plan that's right for each patient. We understand the importance of sharing some of the most effective ways to care for your body nutritionally, so patients can heal quickly and stay well.
As your care team helps treat existing conditions, we help work alongside you to maximize your prevention strategies. We strive to see patients improve quality of life, achieve wellness goals, and support everyone's best possible life.
As one example of the active and open collaboration in Food is Medicine, here's a video brief sharing the American Heart Association’s Health Care by Food™ initiative, that is leading a path in building the evidence needed to show clinical and cost effectiveness of Food is Medicine so patients with acute or chronic disease or with risk factors for disease can hopefully access cost-effective food is medicine programs as a covered benefit through public and private health insurance in the future.
"He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love." Ephesians 4:16
